Once a month -

Call or email for the next Art Play Day

We are a fun group of ladies and a couple of gentlemen that get together once a month to learn a new art technique or project, laugh and socialize.

Art Play Days are a fun way to learn and do art without having to put out a load of money for your own supplies, before finding out if it's what you'll really like.  (You will.)  Everything you need to complete a project is provided.  No previous experience necessary; you're allowed no matter what your skill level.  It's not about talent; it's about having fun doing something you have always wanted to do in a non-judgemental environment.

Each time we meet a new project or technique is introduced.

Some of the things we do are Gourd painting, creating handmade gift cards, learning Zentangle (structured patterns created and combined to form beautiful pieces of art), watercolor, creative journal making, learn to make an infinity scarf, learning the basics of abstract art, making gift tags, painting on clothing, working with Yupo paper, holiday decorations, and now: glass fusing.

A $35 fee covers instruction, materials and supplies, use of specialized equipment,

plus coffee, tea and snacks to munch on while you work.  It's a bargain!

Classes are held at Late Bloomer art studio in Hood River, Oregon.

If you plan on attending, please email Jinx ([email protected]) for the date and time of the next class,

and to reserve a spot in the class as well as directions to the studio, if you need them.

Classes are small and space in the studio is limited, it's important that you reserve your spot so you don't miss out..

The address and directions will be emailed to you after sign up for your first class.

What our participants are saying:

"I didn't think I could do anything artistic; but my new Zentangle art turned out beautiful! I told my sister, now she is doing it, also!  I'm hooked."
